GomSpace is a famous (in the space scene) Danish company that specializes in the design, development, and production of nanosatellites and related space technology. It was founded in 2007 and has evolved into a prominent participant in the small satellite industry.

GomSpace began by providing solutions for universities and smaller organizations to partake in space missions, thanks to their CubeSat kits and platforms, which became popular due to their affordability.

When demand for small satellites as workhorses for space research grew, GomSpace ramped up its offerings and established a bridge-head in the commercial space industry by providing customizable satellite platforms, therefore approaching a broader range of customers: commercial, research and governmental agencies. From then on they were involved in a wider variety of missions, from Earth observation and telecommunications to technology demonstrations and exploration.

GomSpace has developed a diverse range of products and services tailored to the needs of the small satellite market. These products can be categorized into three main areas:

Nanosatellite Platforms: CubeSats, nanosatellites, and microsatellites; to accommodate different payloads and mission requirements. This includes modularity, scalability, and reliability, making them suitable for various space missions.

Payloads and Subsystems: Communication, propulsion, attitude control, scientific instruments.

Ground Control and Operations:  GomSpace can manage satellite fleets including mission planning, telemetry, tracking, and control services.
